We actually walked on café tables to escape the acqua alta many years ago in La Serenissima. Ten or twelve days & perhaps four were as high as this past week. Life goes on in Venice...as with so many, Venice is an obsession that needs no explanation. (Or shouldn't.) buona notte!

Acqua alta in Venice...la notte
We actually walked on café tables to escape the acqua alta many years ago in La Serenissima. Ten or twelve days & perhaps four were as high as this past week. Life goes on in Venice...as with so many, Venice is an obsession that needs no explanation. (Or shouldn't.) buona notte!
