Have a safe & lovely holiday. For some peace (& holiday decorating), here's a little advice from two years ago. xoxo

It's Thanksgiving eve, hooray! Many of you are on the road or at airports (or will be). Wherever you are, we know that like us you will watch the 85th Annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade tomorrow morning. Here is this year's interactive website for some fun & games now. If you are in New York, surely you know about the balloon blow-up scene up at 77th & Columbus. Right? Here's New York magazine's Thanksgiving parade advice.
GG's editor just saw this painting on Tina Tarnoff's Thought Patterns Thanksgiving post. It's pure GG-fantasy. Visit Tina because she has the best attitude...isn't that always the way with people who are here by choice? Also, GG's editor is reminded that last Thanksgiving she sat with friends & ooh & ahhed at Tina's beautiful artwork & jewellry. She's busy busy busy creating so get your order in if you see something you'd like to give for Hanukkah (next week!) or Christmas or anyone other reason.
To get ready for the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade tomorrow, click on Fun & Games & solve a few puzzles. (Do not be alarmed by a band playing; we don't know how to mute it for you. GG loves it, she's marching around the living room. In fact.) Have a great evening. (Snoopy via life(dot)com)
We repeat last year's vintage card (still looking suspiciously like Hallowe'en-turned-Thanksgiving) because we must dash. For those celebrating here in the States, have a safe & great holiday.
This looks suspiciously like a vintage Hallowe'en-turned-Thanksgiving postcard...but GG likes it (even though the cat is not a redhead). Visit Vintage Holiday Crafts for public domain clip art of all sorts; they are very generous, so please follow their rules of the road when using the site. And with that, for those of you celebrating Thanksgiving with us, cheers!
