Giulia is not allowed to have spring onions (the entire lily family being poisonous to felines) but she likes to attend the nearby outdoor market. GG might accompany her editor to the White House market tomorrow. She is keen to meet the First Lady. Maybe even Bo the Dog. We don't have the heart to tell her that the name of the market notwithstanding, it is not at the White House.See Saveur for 30 spring onion recipes; also a lettuce & peas recette that is yummy.
