Randomly Green blog

A sweet new blog on the scene: Randomly Green. GG & her editor love the Daily Kitten & the Endangered Animal of the Day features. Last evening, the Daily Puppy & Fairy Tale Art were also on the site but our computer, as anyone who will listen knows, is on the fritz. We think you should take a peek & perhaps become a follower. We'll be looking for other tasteful, cute sites by pre-teens & welcome any suggestions. Congratulations to Bella on her first blog. (Photo credit)

Blue Balloon

We'd rather be doing anything but trying to fix the computer. On our own. It's not going well & GG's secret opposable thumbs seem to have vanished. If you can't go outside & play, visit some of the humanitarian sites on this page & check them out. It won't take long. (photo credit)

Don't get carried away, part 2

Uh oh. We were warned. Well, it's not permanent, after all. Right? Part one, here. See you later today for week's end. (Vogue Italia via scan, Giugno 2007, Pure Wonder series, Ellen von Unwerth)

Weight of the World...

We hope that the weight of the world will rest as lightly as this balloon, at least sometimes. Otherwise...you are in trouble! (Pure Wonder series by Ellen von Unwerth, scans from Vogue Italia)

A café, a balloon, a celebration

A balloon & a café au lait (or un chocolat chaud) . What more could you want? (Rhetorical. No emails with lists, please:) From Pure Wonder series by Ellen von Unwerth, Vogue Italia, Giugno 2007 (scans from personal copy).

Over the weekend, we'll post links to some Inaugural activities, but if you don't have a plan (whether you're here or not), make one now. Have an impromptu festa. Wherever you are, have some fun (& invite others who might not have plans)!

Have a great weekend!

Ciao-meow from GG & her editor

PS: Buon compleanno, Maria Caterina!
